If you haven’t done any job searching in tech in 10, 15, or even 20 years, searching has changed significantly. Gone are the days when recruiters relied only on resumes—today, LinkedIn, GitHub, certifications, and networking play huge roles in hiring.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, this guide will help you adapt and position yourself for success.

1) Update Your Tech Resume for Today’s Market

Many professionals job searching in tech, fall into the trap of listing job duties instead of demonstrating impact. Employers want to see how you contributed, not just what you were responsible for.
